On the day of the wedding there will be a cocktail hour with passed appetizers and access to our bar.
A meal will be served around 6:00 pm. There will be wine, beer, champagne and cocktails free flowing throughout the evening! Let's have some fun!

Our Story
Chris and Kylie were both raised in Davis California, only a few miles away from each other. They hit it off the summer of 2013, only a few months before heading off to their first year in college. The two would walk the trails of Putah Creek, hangout in the Davis Arboretum, and get Jamba Juice. While challenging, they let each other go, with no bitterness but just admiration for the other. Chris went to Cal Poly to pursue engineering and construction and Kylie set off to Fresno State to pursue Speech Language Pathology. Years went by without hearing from each other when one night, Chris popped up on Kylie's Instagram account for "people you may know", she indeed did know him and was overwhelmingly curious on what he had been up to for the past 8 years. Quickly she pressed "follow". Not long after her initial reach out, Chris added her back, frequently responding to her pictures with odd emojis, attempting to flirt or as the kids say "slide into the dms". Kylie determined she needed to make real contact and messaged him. In a matter of a few messages the two rekindled the chemistry, Chris suggesting they make a playlist of music together. They added songs for several weeks, messaging each other. Chris told Kylie, "next time you go to Davis, let me know and I'll come up and take you on a date".
Three weeks later the two had dinner at Burgers and Brew and spent the night getting to re-know each other. Chris shared he had a surprise. He had saved the mixed CDs Kylie made for him 8 years prior, filled with alternative and rap songs she determined he needed to know before he stepped onto a college campus. They spent the rest of the night, laughing hysterically at how they ended up back to each other. They spent the next several nights figuring out how to give this a go, Chris swearing off long distance relationships and Kylie living in Fresno.
Boldly, Kylie suggested she would come to Monterey in the following two weeks. Chris pulled out all the stops and quickly they knew something was really blooming. They spent the next several months going back and forth from Monterey to Fresno, and decided this was really worth pursuing. The two made it official May 1, 2021 and haven't looked back. They have spent time with friends in Fresno and Monterey, cooking elaborate dinners, swimming at the beach during the hot summer days, walking Point Lobos, going out for beers at local breweries and laughing nonstop.
Chris supported Kylie in buying her first home in Fresno, knowing it was her dream. They spent years growing their relationship until the point they insisted they be together in the same city. Chris bought his home in Del Rey Oaks in February 2024 that would be for them. The two spent months curating a native plant garden in their front yard, filled with poppies, lupin and other native wildflowers. Chris built Kylie raised beds so she could pursue her gardening hobby in their soon to be new home. In July, Kylie packed up her bags and rented her house and made the move to him. They spent the last few months of summer and autumn growing tomatoes, spending many days by the ocean and hosting friends and family in their new home. In November Chris caught Kylie by complete surprise and proposed on a beach, special to them.

Chris and Kylie have big plans in this next year! They have goals to finish their addition to their home, to add more space to grow their family. Secondly, they plan to travel to New Zealand for their honeymoon.
